TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34133 SUBJECT: GRB 230702A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/07/02 12:50:19 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 12:38:53 UT on 2 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230702A (trigger 709994338.06172 / 230702527). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 92.6, Dec = -27.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 10m, -27d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 32.0 degrees.
