TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34192 SUBJECT: Swift Trigger 1178410 is not an astrophysical event DATE: 23/07/10 12:38:15 GMT FROM: Amy A. Y. Lien (U Tampa), C. Gronwall (PSU), K. L. Page (U Leicester), and Aaron Tohuvavohu (U Toronto) report on behalf of the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory team: Using the full data set from recent downlinks, we report further ground data analysis for Swift trigger 1178410 (Lien, et al., GCN Circ. 34174). The BAT analysis uses data from T-60 to T+240 sec. The BAT image significance is 2.7 sigma (15-350 keV). Also, the mask-weighted light curve does not show anything significant. In addition, no source was detected in XRT or UVOT. We therefore conclude that this event is due to noise and is not an astrophysical event.
