TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34204 SUBJECT: GRB 230712A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/07/12 00:49:51 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 00:39:13 UT on 12 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230712A (trigger 710815158.21058 / 230712027). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 153.8, Dec = 28.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 15m, 28d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 19.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 73.0 degrees.
