TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34207 SUBJECT: GRB 230712B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 23/07/12 21:30:17 GMT FROM: Joshua Wood at NASA/MSFC The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 20:49:57.21 UT on 12 July 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230712B (trigger 710887802/230712868). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 351.15, Dec = -42.61 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 23h 24m, -42d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.38 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 31 degrees.
