TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35521 SUBJECT: GRB 240112B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/01/12 13:09:48 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 12:59:25 UT on 12 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240112B (trigger 726757170.415726 / 240112541). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 8.2, Dec = -65.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 00h 32m, -65d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.4 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 150.0 degrees.
