TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35527 SUBJECT: GRB 240112D: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/01/12 22:06:48 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 21:56:04 UT on 12 Jan 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240112D (trigger 726789369.452754 / 240112914). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 148.5, Dec = -79.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 54m, -79d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 26.0 degrees.
