TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35529 SUBJECT: GRB 240112E: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/01/13 00:04:22 GMT FROM: Oliver J Roberts at USRA/NASA The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB "At 17:48:07.46 UT on 12 January 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240112E (trigger 726774492/240112742). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 217.7, Dec = -32.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 31m, -32d 35'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.4 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 125 degrees.
