TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35740 SUBJECT: GRB 240215C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/02/17 18:46:21 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 19:51:43 UT on 15 Feb 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240215C (trigger 729719508.8464 / 240215828). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 279.1, Dec = -44.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 36m, -44d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 91.0 degrees.
