TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35885 SUBJECT: GRB 240306A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/03/06 06:56:45 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 06:45:50 UT on 6 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240306A (trigger 731400355.209016 / 240306282). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 20.6, Dec = -42.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 22m, -42d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.9 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 87.0 degrees.
