TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35902 SUBJECT: GRB 240308A: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/03/08 14:47:01 GMT FROM: Elisabetta Bissaldi at Politecnico and INFN Bari The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 06:25:22.05 UT on 08 March 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240308A (trigger 731571927 / 240308268). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 77.89, Dec = 50.92 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 05h 11m, 50d 55'), with a statistical uncertainty of Error Radius = 4.56 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 25 degrees.
