TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36222 SUBJECT: GRB 240422A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/04/22 02:51:32 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 02:40:59 UT on 22 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240422A (trigger 735446464.467214 / 240422112). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 255.6, Dec = -67.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 02m, -67d 24'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.9 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 23.0 degrees.
