TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36295 SUBJECT: GRB 240425A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/04/25 00:33:16 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 00:21:20 UT on 25 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240425A (trigger 735697285.341006 / 240425015). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 227.7, Dec = 46.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 10m, 46d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 86.0 degrees.
