TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36338 SUBJECT: GRB 240428A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/04/28 15:13:15 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 15:02:54 UT on 28 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240428A (trigger 736009379.32712 / 240428627). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 178.1, Dec = 20.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 52m, 20d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 27.0 degrees.
