TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36387 SUBJECT: GRB 240504A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/05/04 05:23:23 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 05:12:52 UT on 4 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240504A (trigger 736492377.637702 / 240504217). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 64.6, Dec = -8.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 04h 18m, -8d 41'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.4 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 64.0 degrees.
