TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36428 SUBJECT: GRB 240511A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/05/11 18:16:56 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 18:06:20 UT on 11 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240511A (trigger 737143585.263482 / 240511754). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 336.8, Dec = 3.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 22h 27m, 3d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 49.0 degrees.
