TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36546 SUBJECT: GRB 240527B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/05/27 15:08:45 GMT FROM: Cori Fletcher at USRA The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 14:03:51.50 UT on 27 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240527B (trigger 738511436/240527586). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 128.51, Dec = -12.68 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 8h 34m, -12d 40'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.70 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 78 degrees.
