TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36658 SUBJECT: GRB 240611A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/06/11 10:49:37 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 10:38:58 UT on 11 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240611A (trigger 739795143.972738 / 240611444). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 267.9, Dec = 75.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 51m, 75d 54'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 48.0 degrees.
