TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36671 SUBJECT: GRB 240615A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/06/15 18:02:18 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 17:51:45 UT on 15 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240615A (trigger 740166710.052962 / 240615744). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 335.4, Dec = 42.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 22h 21m, 42d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 17.0 degrees.
