TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36749 SUBJECT: GRB 240624B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/06/25 02:27:05 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 19:19:45 UT on 24 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240624B (trigger 740949590.263268 / 240624805). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 237.4, Dec = -7.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 49m, -7d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.3 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 58.0 degrees.
