TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36786 SUBJECT: GRB 240629A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/06/29 17:05:07 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 16:53:52 UT on 29 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240629A (trigger 741372837.729204 / 240629704). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 314.4, Dec = -35.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 57m, -35d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 79.0 degrees.
