TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36843 SUBJECT: GRB 240710A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/07/10 17:22:20 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 17:11:47 UT on 10 Jul 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240710A (trigger 742324312.207884 / 240710717). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 285.3, Dec = 7.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 01m, 7d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 19.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 101.0 degrees.
