TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36984 SUBJECT: GRB 240730B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/07/30 19:48:53 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 19:38:18 UT on 30 Jul 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240730B (trigger 744061103.370314 / 240730818). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 202.2, Dec = 23.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 13h 28m, 23d 11'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 130.0 degrees.
