TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37176 SUBJECT: GRB 240814A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/08/14 04:06:43 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 03:56:12 UT on 14 Aug 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240814A (trigger 745300577.405938 / 240814164). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 48.4, Dec = -4.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 03h 13m, -4d 35'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 22.0 degrees.
