The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 11:34:55 UT on 14 Aug 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240814B (trigger 745328100.447814 / 240814483).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 38.1, Dec = 51.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 02h 32m, 51d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 6.0 degrees.
