TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37386 SUBJECT: GRB 240905A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/09/05 01:26:58 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 01:16:17 UT on 5 Sep 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240905A (trigger 747191782.094466 / 240905053). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 270.5, Dec = -24.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 18h 02m, -24d 41'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 66.0 degrees.
