TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37390 SUBJECT: GRB 240905C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/09/05 08:44:45 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 08:34:13 UT on 5 Sep 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240905C (trigger 747218058.79463 / 240905357). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 173.4, Dec = -0.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 33m, 0d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 82.0 degrees.
