TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37472 SUBJECT: GRB 240912B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/09/12 12:48:23 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 12:38:00 UT on 12 Sep 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240912B (trigger 747837485.316546 / 240912526). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 226.1, Dec = 42.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 04m, 42d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 147.0 degrees.
