TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37894 SUBJECT: GRB 241026A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/10/26 22:53:03 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 22:42:31 UT on 26 Oct 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241026A (trigger 751675356.28385 / 241026946). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 300.3, Dec = 52.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 01m, 52d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 41.0 degrees.
