Filippenko (UC Berkeley) report on\n\nbehalf of the KAIT GRB team:\n\n\nThe 0.76-m Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT), located\n\nat Lick Observatory, responded to GRB 241026A detected by Swift\n\n(Melandri et al., GCN 37896) starting about 3.33 hours after\n\nthe bust under cloudy condition. Observations were performed\n\nin the clear (roughly R) filter, and a total of 30x60s images\n\nwere obtained. We marginally detected the optical afterglow\n\n(Moskvitin et al., GCN 37899; Watson et al., GCN 37900) in our\n\ncoadd image. We measured its brightness of 19.4 +/- 0.3 mag at\n\na mid time of 3.66 hours after the burst.\n",
