TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 38268 SUBJECT: GRB 241118A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/11/18 14:57:02 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 14:46:15 UT on 18 Nov 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241118A (trigger 753633980.750684 / 241118615). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 324.1, Dec = 25.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 21h 36m, 25d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 16.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 79.0 degrees.
