TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 38454 SUBJECT: GRB 241207A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/12/07 09:04:41 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 08:54:10 UT on 7 Dec 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241207A (trigger 755254455.17509 / 241207371). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 287.5, Dec = 42.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 10m, 42d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.6 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 41.0 degrees.
