TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 38461 SUBJECT: GRB 241207B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/12/07 21:01:43 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 20:51:01 UT on 7 Dec 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241207B (trigger 755297466.745718 / 241207869). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 234.8, Dec = -14.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 39m, -14d 18'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 64.0 degrees.
