TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 38530 SUBJECT: GRB 241211A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/12/11 02:33:44 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 02:23:21 UT on 11 Dec 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 241211A (trigger 755576606.874556 / 241211100). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 266.7, Dec = -33.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 46m, -33d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 10.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 62.0 degrees.
