TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 39014 SUBJECT: GRB 250122A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 25/01/22 15:26:00 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 15:15:21 UT on 22 Jan 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250122A (trigger 759251726.758022 / 250122636). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 266.0, Dec = 24.9 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 44m, 24d 53'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 87.0 degrees.
