TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 39347 SUBJECT: GRB 250216A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 25/02/16 20:31:20 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 20:20:43 UT on 16 Feb 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250216A (trigger 761430048.867762 / 250216848). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 212.4, Dec = 60.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 09m, 60d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 12.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 50.0 degrees.
