Terreran (Las Cumbres Observatory), on behalf of a larger collaboration, report:\nFollowing the detection of the fast X-ray transient EP250416a by the Einstein Probe (Zhao et al., GCN 40154), we initiated observations of its location starting on 2025 April 17th at 01:43 UT (~8 hours after the EP/WXT trigger) in the i band. These observations were conducted using the 1-meter telescope at the Las Cumbres Observatory node located at Siding Spring Observatory in Australia.\nNo new optical source was detected in the co-added images within the EP/FXT error box down to ~20 mag.\nThese observations were taken as part of the Global Supernova Project.\n",
