TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 40436 SUBJECT: GRB 250512A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 25/05/12 12:12:11 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 12:01:36 UT on 12 May 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250512A (trigger 768744101.290912 / 250512501). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 318.9, Dec = 76.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 21h 15m, 76d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.5 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 104.0 degrees.
