TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 40531 SUBJECT: GRB 250522B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 25/05/23 00:55:12 GMT FROM: Matt Godwin The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 17:08:52.84 UT on 22 May 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250522B (trigger 769626537/250522714). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 285.32, Dec = -54.30 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 1m, -54d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.40 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 80 degrees.
