"body": "A. Li (BNU), C. Y. Wang（THU）, X. Y. Zhou (PRIC), W. D. Zhang (NAOC) report on behalf of the Einstein Probe (EP) team:\n\nThe EP-WXT trigger 01709200707 at the time of 2025-08-24T12:40:53, is likely a stellar flare associated with UCAC4 268-197742. The estimated flux of the flare is around 6e-11 erg/s/cm^2 in 0.5-4.0 keV, corresponding to an X-ray luminosity of around 1.1e31 erg/s.\n\nA follow-up observation with the Follow-up X-ray Telescope (FXT) was performed automatically. Within the WXT error circle, an X-ray source was detected at R.A. = 328.5143 deg, DEC = -36.5634 deg (J2000) with an uncertainty of 20 arcsec in radius (90% C.L. statistical and systematic), 10 arcsec from UCAC4 268-197742.\n\nLaunched on January 9, 2024, EP is a space X-ray observatory to monitor the soft X-ray sky with X-ray follow-up capability (Yuan et al. 2022, Handbook of X-ray and Gamma-ray Astrophysics).",
