TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 42820 SUBJECT: GRB 251124a: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 25/11/24 15:09:47 GMT FROM: Andreas von Kienlin at MPE The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a LONG GRB "At 12:58:03.47 UT on 24 November 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 251124a (trigger 785681888/251124540). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 258.14, Dec = 16.86 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 12m, +16d 51'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.00 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 63 degrees.
