TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 44587 SUBJECT: GRB 260512A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/05/12 17:07:17 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 16:56:43 UT on 12 May 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260512A (trigger 800297808.529848 / 260512706). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 153.6, Dec = -82.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 14m, -82d 35'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.0 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 136.0 degrees.
