TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 44687 SUBJECT: GRB 260522A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/05/22 02:25:32 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 02:15:08 UT on 22 May 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260522A (trigger 801108913.782424 / 260522094). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 343.6, Dec = 14.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 22h 54m, 14d 05'), with a statistical uncertainty of 5.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 10.0 degrees.
