TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45060 SUBJECT: GRB 260701A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/07/01 02:27:30 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 02:16:36 UT on 1 Jul 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260701A (trigger 804565001.437744 / 260701095). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 294.2, Dec = -51.3 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 36m, -51d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.7 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 68.0 degrees.
