The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 11:10:14 UT on 15 Jul 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260715A (trigger 805806619.33651 / 260715465).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 157.0, Dec = 22.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 28m, 22d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 72.0 degrees.
