TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45313 SUBJECT: GRB 260808A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/08/08 03:02:15 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 02:51:42 UT on 8 Aug 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260808A (trigger 807850307.310674 / 260808119). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 341.8, Dec = 14.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 22h 47m, 14d 05'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 72.0 degrees.
