TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45319 SUBJECT: GRB 260808C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/08/08 16:34:47 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 16:24:14 UT on 8 Aug 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260808C (trigger 807899059.114984 / 260808683). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 214.2, Dec = 34.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 16m, 34d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 13.2 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 36.0 degrees.
