Hurley, on behalf of the HETE\nFREGATE Team;\n \nreport:\n \nAt 22:24:54.5 UTC (80694.5 SOD) on 21 January 2006 the HETE FREGATE,\nWXM, and SXC instruments detected event H4010, a bright short GRB.\n\nGround analysis of the SXC data yields a best-fit location\n\nR.A. = +09h 09m 57s ; Dec. = +45d 40' 30\" (J2000),\n\nwith a 90% confidence error radius of 80 arcseconds.\n\nFurther analyses are in progress.
