TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45562 SUBJECT: GRB 260914A: SVOM detection of a burst DATE: 26/09/14 11:50:35 GMT FROM: SVOM_group C. Wang (IHEP), W. Xie (NAOC), N. Dagoneau (CEA), D. Götz (CEA), C. Ma (NAOC), report on behalf of the SVOM mission team: At 2026-09-14T11:12:31 UTC (T0), SVOM/ECLAIRs triggered and located the gamma-ray burst GRB 260914A (SVOM burst-id sb26091401). The following trigger information was received on the ground with low latency by the SVOM VHF Alert Network. The burst was detected both by the Count-Rate Trigger (CRT) and the Image Trigger (IMT), which produced a sequence of 9 alerts. CRT provided the alert with the best signal-to-noise-ratio in the image (SNR) of 12.81 in the [5-20] keV energy band over a time window of 10.20 seconds starting at 2026-09-14T11:12:27. The localization of the best alert is R.A., Dec. 31.5419, 29.2616 degrees: R.A. (J2000) = 2h06m10.06s Dec. (J2000) = 29d15m41.72s with a 90% confidence level (C.L.) radius of 6.33 arcmin (including systematic error of 2 arcmin added in quadrature). This burst also triggered SVOM/GRM at 2026-09-14T11:12:32 on a timescale of 1 seconds with an SNR of 9.30. The SVOM/GRM light curve showed a single narrow peak structure with a T90 duration of about 4.327 (-0.558 +2.287).
