TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 46032 SUBJECT: GRB 261026B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/10/26 07:31:46 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 07:21:12 UT on 26 Oct 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 261026B (trigger 814692077.378468 / 261026306). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 61.8, Dec = -1.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 04h 07m, -1d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.4 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 80.0 degrees.
