Stecklum (TLS Tautenburg) report:\n\nThe field of GRB 060323 (Vetere et al., GCN 4904) was observed with the 1.34m \nTautenburg Schmidt telescope under excellent conditions in BVRcIc.\n\nThe observation log is the following:\n\nMidtime\tExp\t\tFilter\tlim. Mag\n\n0.1948\t\t6 * 600 s\tIc\t21.8\n0.2227\t\t1 * 600 s\tRc\t22.5\n0.2309\t\t1 * 600 s\tV\t22.5\n0.2385\t\t1 * 600 s\tB\t22.5\n\nLimiting magnitudes were derived via comparison with SDSS pre-burst observations \n(Cool et al., GCN 4905).\n\nFor the star at\n\nRA= 174.38742 (11:37:32.98)\nDec = +50.02251 (+50:01:21.04)\n\nI derive via the transformation equations of Lupton (2005) and the SDSS \nphotometry:\n\nB = 19.187\nV = 18.848\nRc = 18.654\nIc = 18.002\n\nwith typical erros of 0.03 mags. Aperature photometry instrumental magnitudes are \nthen compared with the magnitudes of sources near the detection limit. The limiting \nmagnitudes may be improved with further analysis.\n\nThere is no source detected at the position of the possible UVOT afterglow (Vetere \net al., GCN 4904).\n\nAt the position of the X-ray afterglow (Kennea et al., GCN 4908), we detect a faint \nsource (Rc ~ 21) at\n\nRA= 11:37:44.56\nDec = +49:58:59.8\n\nthat is not visible in the SDSS (limiting mag ~ r = 23).\n\nWe suggest this source as the possible afterglow of GRB 060323.\n\nThis message may be cited.",
